Elegant Candy Daylily
'Elegant Candy' daylily is a sweet treat for your favorite flower bed. Lovely pink blooms are around 4 1/4" and boast a contrasting red eyezone. Grows strong on scapes a bit over 2' tall in our East Tennessee garden. This little beauty is a good rebloomer and also very fragrant.
As an early to mid season bloomer, we typically see the lovely blooms of Elegant Candy appear in early June. If you are to our north, you’ll likely see it a couple of weeks later. If you live to our south, you’ll get to see it a few weeks before we do. Good rebloom means you’ll get to see these pretty pink blooms off and on throughout the season.
Elegant Candy is a dormant daylily. This means it is best grown in gardens that get a sustained winter cold period, like those in zones 8 and lower.
A beauty on its own, this lovely daylily looks even more beautiful when planted with striking red or bright yellow daylilies. Try it with bold orange or shocking yellow for added "oomph" in the garden.
